De Worm the World has tied up with SKS NGO to provide de worming tablets to 1 million children of 5 to 15 years age in AP State.
SKS has partnered with De Worm the World providing the outreach through its Micro Finance operations and provide distribution channels through its village level net works.
SKS MFI loan Officers will be trained in Community Sensitization and Distribution of De worming medication. The Loan Officers will involve community leaders and health workers for bringing awareness levels and create maximum impact.

Pilot Implementation:
Kurnool, Adilabad and Warangal districts are selected as Pilot Districts for the implementation of the Program. De Worm the World and WHO are working together to seek official permission from Principal Secretary, Department of Medical and Health of AP Government. |
Feed the Children US based voluntary organization is donating 1 million tablets to SKS in month of May 09 as support to the Program. |
